Copper is a nice, playful, loving male Sheltie. We purchased him from a breeder in the midwest in the hope of being able to use him in our breeding program. The breeder told us that both parents were very small (12"/13" range) and that Copper was just at 5 pounds. When we recived Copper we were shocked to find out that his weight was 9 pounds and 2 ounces and that (according to the Sheltie groth chart) he will be in the 15" range as an adult. We just can not keep him even though he just loves to sit on a lap and give kisses (unless he is playing with his friends here). He is being sold with FULL AKC registration so if you are looking for a nice young male - perhaps Copper will be just what you need. We are VERY acurate with our weights and I will NOT tell anyone that Copper will be a small Sheltie. We know that we are going to loose money on this deal - but we do need him to go to a good "forever home" that can use him.
