The Bichon is the most amiable dog,and can be equally at home with children and the elderly. Really a dog for all ages! The Bichon has an abundance of personality. They are loving, attentive and intelligent.The Bichon puppy is quick to learn who the new caregivers are, and is most eager to become part of the family.
The Bichon is not an aggressive type personality, but instead is easy to train, not hyper, does not bark incessantly, and is amazingly almost human. They also do not shed, and do not have the doggie odor.
