The first 2 weeks of Doc's life he received supplement bottles. His Mom's milk fully came in after that. The puppies lived in a play pen in my frontroom and were carried out to their Mom every 2 to 3 hours, 24/7 for the first 3 weeks of their life. Needless to say they are handled & played with very, very frequently. They live in a play pen in my living room & are carried to their Mom for feedings.
Doc is a happy little boy, he is going to be very large! At 8 weeks he weighed 25 lbs.
I am a firm believer in socialiaztion. These babies will be introduced to my 5 month old Grandaughter, and many age groups to my husband's 95 yr old Grandmother. They also got to go to the Children's Service at the local Cowboy Church. The puppies had a great time playing with all the children! They will be introduced to other dogs, cows, geese, chickens, goats, turkeys & horses ( no cats - I don't have any cats ). They will be used to household noises, appliances, TV, radio ect.
